Billy was mentored by the finest blues harp players out there: James Cotton, Junior Wells and Carey Bell. His influences don’t stop there as his style is completely unique with his punctuated, quick phrasing and super soulful tone. Billy’s approach to blues harmonica is fiery and passionate and he has chops for days. Copying his style is near impossible but in this summit, I’ll be doing my best to coax some of his wisdom out so we can all learn from him.
