GBHS: Bourbon St. to Maxwell St. “Incorporating regional influences” recording

In this online webinar class we explore regional differences in blues music from Chicago to Louisiana (and likely some west coast influences) so you can learn about how these characteristics influenced famous harmonica players’ styles. There will be 3 instructors present: Greg Izor, Gerry Hundt and Ronnie Shellist. Greg Izor lived and played music in New Orleans with some of the finest players around and has plenty to share regarding his approach to playing. Gerry Hundt has been a full time musician living in Chicago and has worked with the creme of the crop developing his own style. Together we are going to help you bring some fresh ideas into your improvisation and support role as a harp player.
